REKYL TO COMMUNICATE UNIVERSITY OF BORÅS
Rekyl Reklambyrå won the contract for the University of Borås.
This is a 2-year contract with the option for an extension.
Rekyl has been working as communication partner for the City of Borås since 2015. Now the Borås-based advertising agency has won another local contract, this time as a full-service communication agency for the University of Borås.
“It’s a tremendously exciting challenge. We are looking forward to developing the university’s communication in a whole host of different channels,” says Peter Algebäck, CEO of Rekyl.
ESTABLISHING A NAME AS A UNIVERSITY CITY
The University of Borås has 12,400 students and just over 700 members of staff. Working in close liaison with the public and private sectors, the university provides tuition and conducts research that meets high international criteria in many areas of particular relevance to modern society. The university is proud to be the home of the Swedish School of Textiles and the Swedish School of Library and Information Science, two prominent research and teaching environments – and brands that are recognised and respected both in Sweden and internationally.
Rekyl will now work closely with the University of Borås to support its endeavours to achieve full university status and become the third university in West Sweden with full academic rights.
“It’s going to be a fabulously exciting journey. We are really looking forward to the opportunity to work with the university,” says Algebäck.
Rekyl Reklambyrå was established in 1996 and has since expanded to become an advertising agency with 27 employees and a client portfolio that includes companies such as KappAhl, Blåkläder, the City of Borås, HusmanHagberg, Bonnier Media Group, Citroën, Fiskars, Lager 157, Borås Zoo and IF Elfsborg football club.
