Advertising evolved around 100 years ago as a means of endowing a product with more dimensions and giving it a voice that focused exclusively on the excellence of the product in question. This traditional view of advertising remained a truth until around the year 2000, when the internet started to become widely established. Now, 16 years later, everything has changed.

Advertising is dead – and traditional, limited ad campaigns have died with it. Today building relationships is more important than selling, and maintaining a digital presence is as essential as having a physical one. Everyone needs to adapt continually to the developments taking place in the market. That applies to us, too.

Yesterday we were Rekyl, a media-independent, tactical advertising agency with highly efficient production processes.

Today the truth is somewhat more complex. The most valuable assets for most businesses are their brand and their customers or consumers. Put simply, a brand is no longer just a symbol for a service, or a logo linked to a product that distinguishes it from those of its competitors; it is a semiotic machine that produces meaning, generates values and creates experiences for its chosen customers.

For that reason, over the past 18 months we have been working to steadily enhance our offer by complementing our existing portfolio of skills with strategic competence for business development, brand building and communication.

Today we are Brainforest. A strategic communication partner that fuses business logic with communication magic.

PROCESSES REMAIN AS EFFICIENT AS EVER  

Naturally, however, we have retained all of the very best aspects of our own corporate DNA. We continue to produce communication with the same efficiency as always. We still have one of Sweden’s biggest digital teams to work on the development of web services, mobile apps, films and photo assignments. We are producing creative print campaigns that maintain the same high aesthetic quality as they have always had. And, yes, we are also as efficient and effective as ever. Few other agencies can recalibrate their production as quickly as we can – and none but ours can offer you 500 hours of concentrated capacity in just one single day.
